Kirby welcomed 25 students participating in the Dreambig Talent Attraction Programme by atim cluster to the Off-Site Manufacturing Facility in Portlaoise, Co Laois. The students delved into Building Information Modelling (BIM) as Mark Danaher, Associate Director – BIM/ Technical Services, demonstrated the advanced technologies being utilised by Kirby. The demonstration was followed by a facility tour by Mikey Ryan, Kirby Operations Director, where the students learned about the efficiencies of Off-Site Manufacturing, seen the work completed at the facility and the career opportunities in the industry. #Dreambig #STEM #InspiringFutureLeaders #MidlandsInnovation #KirbyCoreValues #PeopleFirst

Kirby is proud to participate in the 2024 Host in Ireland #DCsforBees initiative, ‘Buffet for Bees – Bulbs in the Community.’ Kirby donated 10,000 flowering bulbs to local schools and communities which will provide a vital early food source for bees and pollinators as they bloom each year. Kirby Group Engineering has officially opened its new off-site manufacturing facility at the J17 National Enterprise Park in Portlaoise, Co Laois. This marks another major milestone for Kirby, with the €8m development set to create 50 jobs. The OSM facility is testament to Kirby’s world class engineering practices, which focus on our core values of People, Safety, Quality, Delivery and Value. As a part of Gefle IF Fotboll ‘Ett Bättre Gävle' (A Better Gävle) programme, and our involvement in the Swedish community, Kirby supported the ‘Blue Light Match’, an annual event where over 180 children from the #Gävle community came together to meet and play football with blue light service first responders.
