As we continue on the rebrand journey from LloydsPharmacy to McCabes Pharmacy, we’ve been busy hosting our customers, local media and influencers at our rebrand events. With festive singers, healthy snacks, goodie bags and live outside broadcasts, our amazing pharmacy teams from Nutgrove, Ashleaf, Castletroy and The Lough have welcomed their local communities into their revamped stores. A special thanks to Stephanie Mollinari and Lauren Tracey from marketing for managing these fun filled events and to our suppliers, customers, support office and pharmacy teams for their loyalty during these exciting times. Emmett O’Driscoll, Supervising Pharmacist in LloydsPharmacy Northside Shopping Centre was the winner of our quality driven award. The quality driven award recognises an individual who consistently demonstrates exceptional quality standard and seed continuous improvements in their ways of working. Emmett is dedicated to delivering quality patient care, constantly improving processes, and fostering teamwork. As the Supervising Pharmacist, he leads by example—streamlining workflows, enhancing patient access, and providing valuable training to his team. His proactive approach has improved team morale and made a lasting impact on both colleagues and patients. It’s no wonder the community asks for him by name! We caught up with Emmett after the awards and he was delighted - “to be recognised for your hard work ethic and commitment is very flattering, not only amongst our valued customers but also my peers. This award is something I feel will drive me forward to achieve greater things amongst my PHX colleagues." Well done Emmett!!

The McCabes Pharmacy team are delighted to be attending the Future of PhamacIE event this Friday 1st November in the RCSI! The winter #flu season has officially kicked off, and our LloydsPharmacy Ireland teams are all ready to help protect their patients, administering the Flu and Covid vaccinations. Adults aged over 60, pregnant women, people in the at-risk" groups, health care workers and carers, and children aged 2-17 are all eligible for a free Flu vaccine. We continue to make it easier for our patients to book their appointment with a range of dates and times available across our network. In addition to booking appointments on our website, many of our pharmacies are offering walk in clinics as well as visiting schools.
