Drogheda and District Chamber, Louth Local Development and venue hosts, Scotch Hall Shopping Centre, are combining with us to stage this free event at which up to 20 high profile businesses will be attending. Those seeking employment are welcome to come along, bring a CV and hopefully start a new career path. The focus will be on retail and hospitality and as well as getting advice and information on job opportunities, those attending can learn about trades and job seeking techniques. “While this is about helping people gain employment, it is also about how to apply for jobs and what skills people may need. We’d love to see a huge crowd come out and see what is available,” the organisers stated. “We would also welcome those in the retail and hospitality sector to get in contact with us and be part of the day.
