McAree Engineering continues to lead the way in precision manufacturing and innovation with the integration of the Valk Welding robot system into its operations. This advanced automation system is designed to complement McAree’s high-end, large-format sheet metal processing capabilities, pushing the boundaries of efficiency, quality, and versatility. 👍 🤗 . The setup features a cutting-edge hanging robot on a 12-meter track, strategically serving two workstations. One workstation is equipped with a 2-ton positioner and a movable counter-bearing, ideal for handling large and complex components. The second workstation boasts an L-positioner, further enhancing the system’s ability to handle diverse welding tasks. . To ensure seamless and precise operations, the system is outfitted with a Wire Exchange System (WES), allowing effortless switching between welding wires to accommodate various materials. Additionally, the Arc-Eye CSS seam tracking system guarantees pinpoint accuracy, while integrated fume extraction promotes a safe and clean working environment.

We were delighted to have the opportunity to share our views on doing business in the border region and the challenges facing companies like ourselves with Minister for Finance, Jack Chambers and Senator Robbie Gallagher, Fianna Fail election candidate along with Local counciler Raymond Aughey, when they called for a visit this afternoon. Govt policy can have a major impact on business costs, especially labour costs and when you are competing for all Ireland business against companies who have a different regulatory environment, it can make all the difference. #backborderbusiness

In addition to our cutting and forming capabilities, we offer industry-leading finishing services: A 14m x 7m x 6m blast booth with a recovery system for manual blasting using chilled iron. A Gema spray booth (7.2m x 4m x 3.3m) complete with an after-filter and fire suppressant system for optimal safety and efficiency. Oven facilities (7.2m x 3.5m x 3.3m) to handle a wide range of coating needs. A wet spray booth (8m x 20m x 8m) with an 80°C heat capacity and 7.5-ton lifting capability, ideal for large components. To ensure the highest standards, we have an in-house ICORR-accredited Paint Inspector (Level 1) who oversees our paint and finishing processes, guaranteeing top-notch quality in every project. .
