On this World Children’s Day, we call on all election candidates to end the unfair family reunion policy that is separating migrant workers from their children. We had an insightful week in Brussels 🇪🇺, joining a delegation of Irish stakeholders working on #migration for an informative visit to the European Commission and European Parliament The programme offered a valuable opportunity to explore EU migration policies and the critical role of EU institutions in shaping them. We met with Commissioner Mairead McGuinness 🇪🇺 and Irish Members of the parliment  Barry Andrews MEP, @oriordainaodhan  Aodhán Ó Riordáin , Michael McNamara MEP, as well as representatives from various Directorates-General and the Irish Permanent Representation to the EU. It was also great to connect with key organisations in the migration space, including Irish Refugee Council, AkiDwA Ireland, Nasc, the Migrant & Refugee Rights Centre,  European Movement Ireland, Immigration Council of Ireland, Caidre, Spirasi, Cultúr Migrants Centre and IIEA.
