Neylons Facility Management was established in 2004, marking the beginning of a remarkable journey in the facility management industry. Founded by Sylvie Neylon after a redundancy from his sales position, the company secured its first contract with Tommy Sheehan, the owner of Galway Clinic. This initial opportunity laid the foundation for what would become a thriving enterprise. Sylvie's vision for Neylons was centred around building a strong team. He demonstrated a keen ability to identify and nurture young talent, mentoring individuals to reach their full potential and embody the values of excellence that the company stands for. One notable figure in Neylons' history is Maria Sava, who joined the company in 2007 at an entry-level position. Maria's dedication and innovative spirit led her to develop the Academy For Growth, an in-house management program that received recognition with a European Business Award in 2018. Her leadership capabilities culminated in her appointment as CEO of Neylons Facility Management in the same year. Recently, Maria has returned to her passion for people and has taken on the role of HR Director for Apleona Ireland. As Neylons Facility Management celebrates its 20th anniversary, it has officially joined the Apleona group. This milestone reflects two decades filled with cherished memories, a strong team spirit, and a commitment to overcoming challenges together while striving for excellence in the industry.
