SHOUT OUT to our next generation! ✨ It’s International Youth Day today! 🤩🥳 All the efforts from North Midlands Credit Union shows the commitment we have in promoting not only education but also engagement among our youths within local communities! What we do to support our youths? 🤔 ⭐️Our biggest event of the year is our Primary School’s Quiz. Where students from all over our common bond come to show us their exceptional knowledge! This is an excitable and very popular event in the academic calendar! We had over 400 students participating last year! ⭐️We have a Secondary School fund where schools can apply for funding for equipment, supplies or incentives to help their day-to-day school life. Either the teachers or the student councils apply for this. Over the years we have given schools over 300K and our purchases have ranged from outdoor seating areas, new bins, sports gear, chrome books, stationary to revamping science labs and home economics rooms! ⭐️We will be offering schools more educational presentations this year which will equip our students with the financial knowledge they need. This will include financial wellbeing, money management, talk on current accounts and how to prepare for college. ⭐️Anyone in full time education can bank with us for free.
