Thrilled to read more in the Irish Farmers Journal from our 2023 #Scholars' findings on topics of huge, direct relevance to Irish agriculture! This week, Margaret Edgill writes on developing a strategy for agrifood tourism as income stream for farm diversification, and the need for greater joined up thinking between government departments, agencies and local authorities and organisations to make it happen. 👏 👏 https://lnkd.in/e5Ak2pqe

I recently had the pleasure of presenting my Nuffield research titled ‘Future Proofing People Management in Irish Agriculture’ at the Nuffield Ireland Conference. Over the past 2 years the Nuffield scholarship has provided me with the amazing opportunity to travel and learn more about agriculture around the world. The biggest standout along the way has been the incredible people I’ve met. People’s willingness to welcome Nuffield scholars into their homes and businesses and share their stories has been truly humbling. A huge thank-you to everyone at Nuffield Ireland, my fellow 2023 Nuffield scholars and all those who contributed to my Nuffield journey along the way. For anyone who wishes to get further information on my report it’s available on the Nuffield website www.nuffield.ie
