Enormous thanks to all who braved the weather last Thursday to join us at the Portumna Town Trail Co-Design Workshops in the Irish Workhouse Centre, on behalf of Galway County Council. Great fireside chats. We hope our work will help the project in the years ahead!

Great to work with a great team and hand these houses back to Meath County Council. Always hard to do large scale retrofit... Ireland needs so much more of this.

As we start to think of winding down, we contemplate how busy the year has been, with the delivery of 50% more homes than last year (10 per staff member) in Cork, Dublin, Galway, Louth, Laois, Limerick, Meath and Wexford. It's hard work, but we do it. Every day. And we'll do more in 2025, for the people that get to close their doors this Christmas, safe and warm with a long term roof over their head. #HousingForAll #IrishArchitecture #ElderlyDesign

Works on our #HousingForAll project at the Presentation Convent in Portlaoise progressing well. The Convent Lands project will deliver 52 new public housing homes including 11 beautiful apartments in the convent building itself. This has been a complex site development process including flood management, utility diversions, archaeology and built heritage; all within the town core. These new homes will be placed within 100m of the town’s Main Street, walking distance from all principal services. The project will deliver an enhanced public realm, a new walled garden, public park and playground. We think this is a great example of the implementation of the Department's Town Centre Living Strategy to reuse existing buildings and landscape to deliver a rich public realm and prompt integration of new housing to its neighbourhood and community. We look forward to sharing the ongoing progress with you over the coming year. For now, we just enjoyed a dry warm sunny day.
