Now the dust from The Classics Forum has settled - and most importantly, the cars are all safely home and resting under their covers... It's my time to say thank you as well.
Thank you to the great people which made a vision come true: the first global conference on the collectible car sector and its future. The outcome beat our wildest dreams.
Thanks to the attendees: a stunning crowd of 120 among the world's key decision makers and opinion leaders in the classic car space, including many representatives of the leading manufacturers (from Bugatti Rimac to Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A., from Dallara to Caterham, from Alfa Romeo to Ferrari), collectors, professionals and visionaries.
Thanks to the amazing location: Tenuta di Roncolo truly represents peak hospitality in the Motor Valley (which we were honored to have as our patron). Giuseppe and Julia: you have a jewel - thanks so much for being our partners in this venture! Thanks also to Pierpaolo and Carlotta for all the hard work of the last several months.
Thanks to McKinsey & Company, their amazing teams who worked incredibly hard on assuring stellar content, and most importantly Michele: your vision goes beyond what I've ever experienced in the consulting world (and the bar was really high, given I was fortunate enough to work with stellar people for many years).
Thanks to our partners: Safilo, BREITLING, Pirelli, Car&Vintage - having you by our side was really special. Believing in a first edition requires a lot of vision; we hope we repaid your trust. The teams we were lucky enough to work with were amazing, and we hope to have the opportunity to build great things together in the future.
A special note goes out to P1 FUELS - our long term partner, and sustainability partner of the event who ensured the environmental impact of our drives was minimal (with special thanks to Benjamin for the immense help over the many months of preparation, besides of course Martin, Tiziana and Francesca), as well as to Canossa Events, our experience partner- who was instrumental in making this come true (and a success). Luigi, Valentina, Marcello, Elisa and the rest of the team, not only am I endlessly thankful for the help: I also was fortunate enough to learn A LOT from you.
Our speakers contributed to make this a memorable experience in the eyes of all of those who have reached out with their feedback; so my heartfelt thanks to them. Andrea, Massimo, Max, Eugenio, Eddie, Sergio, Stefano, Paul, Luca, Dario, Angelo and those I have already mentioned: your talks brought the sector into the future.
Finally, endless gratitude to the AssetClassic team: if we're receiving dozens of touching thank you notes since three days, it's because of the immensely hard work you put into this for months - and the endless nights and weekends of the last several weeks. And as LinkedIn allows me one last mention, having to chose the one, absolute star of all of this... That one goes to the one and only Luca.
