RDS BREEDERS’ TALK 2024 📚 An incredible week at this year’s Dublin Horse Show, Plusvital were delighted to sponsor the third annual RDS Breeders’ Talk hosted by Michael Doherty. Set in the beautiful Library the RDS Breeders’ Talk aims to share knowledge and ideas with sport horse breeders based in Ireland. This year’s guest speakers included experts from both at home and abroad: 🇮🇪 Rebecca Watson, CTO of Plusvital, who discussed the importance of correct nutrition and supplementation for all breeding stock 🇮🇪 Dr. Niamh Lewis, specialist in Equine reproduction & Assistant Professor at University College Dublin, spoke on the application and ethics surrounding ICSI 🇧🇪 Melanie Hamerlinck, of Van de Heffinck Stud in Belgium. As a rider, stallion owner and breeder Melanie offered a diverse range of insights on how she approaches breeding for the top level sport 🇧🇪 Final speaker on the night proved hugely popular with the crowd. Stephan Conter, Founder & CEO of Stephex Stables spoke openly about how he has grown his business across a range of equine areas as well as managing and producing horses and riders to perform at the highest level of showjumping.
