The Institute was delighted to host a number of recent graduates for a pre graduation ceremony at the Woodford Dolmen Hotel last Wednesday. These students were graduating from the Higher Certificate in Business in Sustainable Supply Chains, Digitalisation and Logistics at SETU Lifelong Learning. CILT were delighted to present them with one year complimentary membership of the Institute to mark the occasion. We look forward to having these graduates as part of our thriving membership community and look forward to seeing them engage with us as they continue in their professional careers. President of CILT Ireland Brendan Keating gave a short address to these graduates regarding the importance of continuous professional development. As an Institute, we continue to champion the importance of enhancing professional standards across the industry. Through our learning network CILT Mobility & Supply Chain Skillnet these graduates were able to access this training programme at a subsidised cost. Primeline Group supported a number of employees through this course and benefitted from the subsidy afforded by accessing this qualification via our Skillnet. Last Thursday, Primeline Group had the pleasure of participating in FTA Ireland's Sustainable Transport Seminar at The Johnstown Estate. It was a fantastic opportunity to share insights on how we are leading the way in sustainable logistics. Our presentation, delivered by our Head of Programme Management, Debbie Johnston, titled "Delivering Sustainable Logistics – An FTA Ireland Members Perspective," provided a snapshot of the steps we're taking to tackle the challenges and seize the opportunities that come with ESG and sustainability in today's business landscape. Primeline have completed the installation of additional solar panels to our existing units at our Ashbourne Campus! ✅ Unit 9: 330 panels, expected to generate 116,378 kWh annually ✅ Unit 12A & 12B: 878 panels, expected to generate 353,930 kWh annually Combined with the solar panels on Unit 12E and 12F, Primeline will be generating nearly 1,000,000 kWh per year! 💡 This is a major step toward reducing our carbon footprint and staying on course to meet our climate goals 🌍 Before VS After Photos below!
