Lovely piece in the Irish Independent about why Kerry is attracting remote workers. Great shout-out from Hrvoje Smolic 🔮 of Graphite Note about the RDI Hub and what he loves about living and working in #Kerry. Thanks Hrvoje! 👋 He describes the (RDI) hub as more than just a place to work, it's a community of like-minded innovators all working together: “In the RDI Hub, you get peer-to-peer conversations over coffee, and that fresh perspective helps you solve problems. That kind of network, plus access to mentorships, has been key to navigating challenges.” Take 5 minutes and check out the article. #LoveKerry #LivePlayThriveHere Killorglin Chamber Alliance Killorglin.ie WorkLiveKerry ( discoverkerry.com) #Community #Innovation #ChooseKerry https://lnkd.in/eAjFv_5X

For the past 4 years RDI Hub has been privileged to be a regional delivery partner that delivered a truly impactful national startup programme NDRC. For the first time ever it made no difference if you were building your company from "Killorglin or Stillorgan" alongside our partners Dogpatch Labs PorterShed Republic of Work the NDRC team spread across the hubs, delivered an incredible impactful nationwide programme of activities designed to support and empower the next generation of Irish Founder’s. The numbers In the year 3 impact report show the impact : €45M+ raised by the NDRC startups of the last 3 years, €170M+ raised by the entire portfolio during the same period, 650 jobs created in Ireland by NDRC startups in the last 3 years with 30% women-led or co-led investments. Thank you to all the entrepreneurs, mentors, volunteers and helpers that have worked tirelessly to help us in the delivery of coaching / mentoring through Office Hours, Pre-Accelerators, Founder Weekends, Masterclasses and so many other activities. The NDRC announcement last week, will not affect the NDRC programmes delivery in 2025. Our focus and our primary mission will remain the same as we continue to work alongside our partners and friends in the ecosystem to help resource startups and scaleups. The NDRC has been critical for ecosystem building in the South West of Ireland and sits alongside existing supports from the Department of Enterprise Trade and Employment (DETE) including programme, financial and soft supports provided by the Local Enterprise Office network and Enterprise Ireland. Every region in Ireland needs opportunity at a scale that can make a difference, regional-based technology ecosystem supports delivered by the NDRC help redistribute opportunity for all, so that people throughout Ireland can achieve financial stability, upward mobility, and economic prosperity – regardless of geography. I hope this isn’t the end of the NDRC story, it’s just the beginning of a new chapter. FexcoRDI HubKerry MacConnell Karl Aherne Bertie M.
