Dublin Port built the new greenway for Dubliners. And with over 42,000 visitors since its October launch, it’s fair to say people are loving their new greenway. This Christmas we had great fun helping Dublin Port invite all the new bikes and their owners down for a spin. No matter what age you are, The Dublin Port Greenway is the perfect place to take your new bike out for a spin over the Christmas. Safe paths to cycle along with amazing views of Dublin bay and its wildlife as you work off those Christmas spuds.

If you know a Lámh user, you’ll know how they feel about Dizzy Deliveries. It’s a programme that helped make Ireland a more inclusive place for Lámh users, and this Lámh Day we’re growing the Dizzy Deliveries universe - by creating ‘Dizzy Deliveries at the Funfair’, the first ever children’s book to feature Lámh. Written by James Foley, illustrated by Emmet Mullins and produced by Molly Kiely with finished art by Gayle Briody, this has been a real passion project for everyone at Ringers Creative, Macalla Teo, and Lámh. The book will be available soon from lamh.org, and we can’t wait for the Lámh community to start getting their hands on it. Happy Lámh Day everybody. #thelamhproject

During an initial research phase on this project, we learned all about the myriad of reasons why teenage girls drop out of, or completely avoid sport. But one jumped out at us. Teenage girls expected to drop out of sport once they hit 14 or so. Why? Because that is the story they are told. Reinforced by brands and mainstream media who like to dramatise the fact that girls are dropping out. It was all they saw in their social feeds and on screens. Teenage girls felt talked at. They also felt talked about. So we recently went through an incredible co-creation process with our target audience. Rather than talk at them, we would talk to them. Rather than tell them how they felt, they would tell us. And we would listen. And help them tell everyone else. #InternationalDayOfTheGirl

It's International Day of the Girl, the perfect moment to let everyone know that Sport Ireland and their partners are listening to teenage girls. In a series of HerMoves workshops, they took pen to paper and shared the good, bad and ugly about their relationships with sport and movement. They wrote powerful messages about what they love and what they want to change. Our job was to listen hard and then weave their words into a narrative concept that rang true for the girls and would help parents, teachers and coaches understand how they really feel. Contributing to a better sporting environment for the girls. The first thing they’d like is to be listened to. So please watch this film. It was made for teenage girls, with teenage girls. A big thank you to our partners in Sport Ireland, TITAN Experience and Ardmore for another opportunity to do some important work.

We may have found the most chill man in Ireland. Abdul Ahmad from Donagh Bees is a Syrian-Irish beekeeper who spends every day sticking his hands in hives full of thousands of bees, harvesting honey, getting stung, and being chill. From the most northerly point of Donegal, alongside a cast of 10,000 bees, he lent us his voice, his wisdom, his bees and bee-suits. He even let us 3D scan his head to create this short film about the importance of being chill for our client Chill. The world could do with more Abduls. #ringers #ringerscreative #chillinsurance #chill #donaghbees

When Hugh Lane told Sarah Purser that he was planning to open a gallery of modern art back in 1908 she wrote back to him and said “More Power to You”. These four words pretty much told us everything we need to know before getting to work on an exhibition about this incredible artist, activist and collector. It was great to see her spirit in action at the opening of the Sarah Purser MORE POWER TO YOU exhibition last night at Hugh Lane. And to meet the one and only Sabina Higgins. Huge thanks to The Hugh Lane Gallery, Rian McCarthy and Logan Sisley for asking us to help out as exhibition partners. #ringers #hughlanegallery #sarahpurser

When people talk about Mícheál Ó Muircheartaigh, they talk about how names and places, facts and information just flow out of him. But he was more than just a wealth of knowledge. He was a storyteller. We asked him to talk about what home meant to him in the hopes that we would gleam a few usable lines for a film. He spoke for almost two hours and reduced a bunch of cynical advertising heads into blubbering idiots. He was 92. Go well Mícheál. https://lnkd.in/eEBG9YZq

Before all the medals and the highlight reels, each of our Irish athletes stood up one day, threw on a pair of runners and decided to run. Or jump over things. Or throw stuff. Some got really good at it and ended up on our screens. We’re looking at you Rhasidat. Others just kept doing it for fun. It’s all good. It’s all athletics. And it’s for everyone. We’re really happy to call the brilliant people behind the scenes at Athletics Ireland a client. Can’t wait to see what happens in the summer.
