I was delighted to attend the launch of the the Further Education &Training (FET), Skills Box yesterday in the National Construction Training Campus in Mount Lucas. The FET Skills Box is a new resource for schools Career Guidance Counsellors to promote careers in a number of industry sectors including construction. The resource will be made available to every second level school in the country and is the latest initiative to promote careers in the construction sector. Well done to ETBI and Future Building for the work done and all the organizations that attended yesterday that continue to support promoting careers in the construction sector. This is an opportune time to remind CIF members who gave 2nd Level Students work experience this year, that the closing date for entries for the CIF “Constructing Your Future” https://lnkd.in/e6tVnuiV competition is 28 April … please encourage your students to enter.
