French valve-manufacturing company SNRI, based in the town of Ruffec, in southwestern France, have joined the SchuF family of companies, and will now operate under the name SNRI SchuF SAS. Their business is complementary to that of SchuF, and will extend the range of products, services and expertise which the SchuF group have to offer. The merger may facilitate expansion into new markets, offering many opportunities for the expanded SchuF Group.

Korean Technical School graduates may seek apprenticeships at SchuF Germany The German regional newspaper Eppsteiner Zeitung reports how four young Koreans have recently spent a period of time at SchuF Germany, Eppstein, potentially seeking a future technical apprenticeship there. The group were in Germany as part of a delegation of more than 50 young graduates of a technical college in South Korea. Despite intensive efforts at SchuF to seek trainees from the local region, there appears to be little interest in such training amongst young Germans. Although Korea boasts world-class education and training, youth unemployment there is 15 percent, which helps explain why the Korean government supports such training programmes as this. For more information, click the link, below, to the Eppsteiner Zeitung article: an English translation of the original German article is available when selected. https://lnkd.in/e9wDnucs

Holger Müller, Head of Sales Europe at SchuF, recently attended PROCAB AB's Valve Day (𝘝𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘭𝘥𝘢𝘨𝘦𝘯), where a record number of people on site (almost 100) and a record number of exhibitors enjoyed a memorable day. It was a really good experience with knowledge and relationship-building in focus, and in the evening there was lots of glitter as PROCAB AB celebrated their 40th anniversary. As an important partner of SchuF, it was great to be part of the PROCAB AB event, and it was a pleasure to spend time with so may interesting speakers and exhibitors. We are looking forward to next year's Ventildagen already! PROCAB AB
