Our project works to develop sustainable, safe and cost efficient bio-based fertilisers to address food security in NWEurope and beyond. Us, in the South East Technological Univesrity, analyse #nematode #biodiversity to #biomonitor 🪱🪱 the ecological impact of these novel fertilisers and to make sure they are good for #soilhealth. Presenting my research at the 11th meeting of the Evolve Research Group. My research title was "Footwear recommendations for healthy children and adolescents. A scoping review to characterise the nature and extent of healthy children’s footwear research, and policy recommendations" Conclusion: This review demonstrated that of the 13 available recommendations only 3 had supporting evidence and 10 had no evidence base to support all of their recommendations. The review identified a need for further research within the area of children’s footwear, particularly in understanding how the shoe design affects the developing foot over the long term.

"By utilising AR and VR technologies, the aim is to bridge the gap between traditional training methods and the evolving demands of the healthcare sector" Daniel Hickey, software engineer in Walton Institute, SETU, aims to demystify extended reality and digital twin technologies as he discusses his role in the DDS-MAP EU4Health project with Silicon Republic. Innovation was on the menu at GROWTHhub's annual enterprise breakfast meeting this week. Three wonderful speakers, Niall Reck, Co-Founder and Creative Director of Graphedia, Victoria Wilmott (Victoria’s Incredible Edibles) and Larry Breen (CEO, Santegic) shared insights on the importance of continuous innovation, based on their lived experience and research. Together, they provided a rounded perspective of stages of the entrepreneurial journey, which resonated with all who attended.
