The passion and the veracity of speakers and audiences at the ESG Summit in Dublin reflects the urgency of the need to upskill to make our businesses climate ready. Our Director Maria Kelly was among the speakers at the event that pointed out the capabilities and leadership skills required to drive sustainability in Ireland today. Maria's presentation on research done by the Skillnet Climate Ready Academy focussed on overcoming a natural tendancy to take a short term view to change our ability to overcome challenges. She also spoke about the need and the recognition of transversal skills to deal with the climate and sustainability question going forward. Skills and abilities required by businesses that are the focus of programmes such as the Sustainability Leaders Program among others.
