Today at TelLab, we came together for a special breakfast morning that was full of warmth, smiles, and community spirit. It was wonderful to see all our staff gathered, enjoying a moment of connection and camaraderie before the day’s work began. 🍳 ☕ But this wasn’t just any breakfast—alongside our gathering, we hosted a heartfelt fundraiser for the Tullow Day Care Centre, which has recently faced a series of break-ins. Supporting our local community is at the core of who we are, and we were moved by everyone’s generosity and enthusiasm in rallying for this cause. A huge thank you to everyone who contributed, participated, and made this morning a truly special one. Your kindness makes a difference. Also, a special thanks to The Lazy River Café for the catering that helped make our breakfast so memorable! Let's continue to support and uplift one another, within and beyond the workplace! 💙 #CommunitySpirit #TelLab #FundraisingForGood #CompanyBreakfastMorning

I'm absolutely over the moon to share that I won 1st place in the #SWIG Early Career Researcher Competition at #WWEM2024! 🥇 🎉 So grateful and humbled to accept this award for my poster presentation on the development and future application of our new Total Inorganic Nitrogen Aquamonitrix® - On-line Analysers towards energy saving and mitigation of nitrous oxide emissions through process optimisation within wastewater treatment. A huge thank you to all involved at SWIG (Hannah, Andy, Katherine, Sarah, to name just a few!) for making me feel so welcome at my first #WWEM conference & exhibition! Thank you also to my fellow finalists Jah and Yicheng, it was a pleasure meeting you both and I look forward to keeping up with your research topics and future careers going forward! And finally thank you to all the team at Aquamonitrix and T.E. We were delighted to host Sherman Tng, Analyte Measurement & Solutions with us for training on the NOx-monitrix analysers and SetLR-monitrix, over the last two days. Aquamonitrix systems are now being used in studies in various WWTPs worldwide to help reduce energy consumption and mitigate greenhouse gases (nitrous oxide emissions). The simultaneous, selective and accurate detection of nitrite and nitrate, while measuring in aeration basins is a key factor. Aquamonitrix employs rapid ion chromatography with patented UV-LED detection. This is combined with the SetLR-monitrix which uses sludge settlement to produce a clear supernatant for sampling. We are looking forward to upcoming deployments in Singapore. #nitrousoxide #waterquality #wwtp
