Last week, I had the pleasure of visiting the Technological University of the Shannon (TUS) Moylish campus in Limerick City. Situated in the shadow of the world-renowned Thomond Park Stadium, home to Munster Rugby, and just a short walk from the TUS Gaelic Grounds, the campus hosts more than 7,000 students from 120 different countries. TUS has now achieved the prestigious QS 5-Star rating, recognizing its excellence in education. During my visit, I was delighted to explore the brand-new TUS Coonagh campus, where students have access to a state-of-the-art engineering facility featuring technical workshops, teaching spaces, and dedicated soft skills areas. This campus is going to becoming a center of excellence for manufacturing and engineering courses. It was a pleasure meeting Donnacha McNamara, Vice President of Internationalization, as well as Clodagh Moore, the program leader for Process Validation & Regulatory Affairs. Our discussion was insightful and provided great clarity on the program structure and the career opportunities available to graduates in this field.
