These axes allow the robot to move and position its end effector (tool or gripper) in various orientations and reach different points within its workspace. The number and types of robot axes can vary depending on the robot's design and application. ✅ 𝗥𝗼𝗯𝗼𝘁𝘀 can have various combinations and configurations of these joints, providing them with specific degrees of freedom and capabilities. The number of axes a robot has determines its overall flexibility and the complexity of tasks it can perform. For example, a typical industrial robot might have six axes (six degrees of freedom) to achieve greater flexibility and manoeuvrability in complex applications such as assembly, welding, or material handling. In robotics, 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 refers to a robot's ability to return to a specific position or perform the same task with consistent accuracy, time and time again.
