Healthy City and County Coordinator/Senior Staff Officer (Community & Sport) Waterford City and County Council.
A fantastic gathering of wellbeing and health professionals in Waterford, showcasing great engagement and innovative ideas for 2025. Together, we aim to strengthen our network to address the social determinants of health, a mission these individuals work toward every day within their own work and communities. Along with my colleagues Ovidiu M. , Ger Mulhall and Nicola Spendlove we really got a lot out of the excellent contributions from the groups and the panel. It was also a valuable opportunity to highlight the work of Healthy Ireland Local Government and the crucial role local authorities can play in promoting and supporting wellbeing initiatives.
