📣 30k words learned with Weeve in the last month alone 🤩 There were a few surprises in the leaderboard of languages... Spanish continues to dominate with the #1 spot and 1/3 of the learning to date. German and French are tied in second. 💪 As a gaeilgeoir, I am delighted to see Irish rank #4 on our leaderboard of languages with over 3k words learned so far! Irish surprisingly pips Japanese and Italian in the board, and is a testament to adding a #cuplafocail into your day. 🌟 What an Amazing 𝐁𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐢𝐧 at Weeve 🌟 It is the time of the year to reflect and appraise the year. Each year I feel more excited about Weeve and I'm so proud of the team for what we have achieved in 2023: 🤝 We participated in NDRC Accelerator, which helped us immensely as we pivoted from app to the extension. 😎 We saw the love and anticipation for the extension as our Tiktok went viral with over 2 𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐮́𝐧 views! 🤖 We released the first ever AI-weeve in the browser: allowing users to translate contextually accurate words like verbs and phrases for the first time 🚀 We launched the Weeve Chrome extension—coming out of beta on the 13th September! 👏 We saw Cian Mcnally step into the role as CEO, with Evan Mcgloughlin stepping away from the company to focus on his YouTube career 🤝 We are participating in the Learnovate Centre, Trinity College Dublin edtech accelerator -- and are looking forward to completing it in 2024! And that's just the start of it. The extension has been so much fun and the reaction has been great.
