2024 marked 75 years since the first Intraocular Lens implantation was carried out post cataract surgery in a human being. To commemorate this milestone WSPOS will be conducting what we aim to be the largest survey on Paediatric IOL Implantation in 2025. It is our hope that our WSPOS members will participate in the survey to help us reach this goal. Keep an eye out for the survey launching in January 2025! 📖 A Collaborative Journey: WSPOS's Educational Visit to Honduras 💙 Earlier this year, the stunning landscapes of Honduras served as the setting for a dynamic paediatric ophthalmology symposium. Dr. Ken Nischal and Dr. Matthew Pihlblad journeyed from Pittsburgh (USA) to impart their knowledge to a diverse audience of visitors, residents, and local attending physicians.
