    One of the leading causes of workplace accidents falls into a category we have known about since we were learning to walk: slips, trips and falls! For non-fatal injuries, this most basic of hazards accounts for a third of the number recorded in the UK workplace (per UK govt’s HSE). We usually assume this is just bad luck. The fact is though that the causes are well known: slips, trips and falls usually happen because of rushing, fatigue, complacency or distraction. We all know that these incidents can have significant personal and professional consequences, so why not pre-empt their impact?
