FP&A Manager - Fully Remote

Our client is a multinational company that is part of a leading group within it's sector. They are establishing an increased presence in Ireland and inviting an FP&A accounting professional to join their international finance team on a fully remote basis.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

This role will suit an ambitious and commercially minded finance professional. Main duties and responsibilities will include:

• Assist in planning and reviewing budgets, focusing on market assumptions, cost environment, and performance metrics;
• Interpreting and analysing large data sets to gather commercial insights;
• Develop financial models to facilitate with the budgeting and strategic planning process;
• Analyse company performance, in terms of historical data, forecasts and industry benchmarks;
• Lead the development of strategic planning and liaising with senior management;
• Prepare and analyse financial statements, balance sheet and cash slow statements;
• Engaging with internal and external stakeholders, and other specialists;
• On-going process improvement and ad-hoc projects as they arise.

ABOUT THE PERSON:

• Qualified Accountant or Qualified by experience;
• Minimum 3 years experience within a commercial role;
• Experience in the use of data visualisation (Tableau, Power BI);
• Team player with ability to contribute both individually and as part of a team;
• Confidence to address challenges as they arise;
• Advanced excel with previous knowledge of financial modelling;
