Senior Financial Accountant

Le Meas Executive Search are delighted to partner with a rapidly growing Life Insurance Company to hire a Senior Financial Accountant for their Dublin operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review of monthly investment deliverables from investment provider.
• Review of policyholder related tax submissions and settlements.
• Support financial reporting, with oversight of general ledger entries and month end close.
• Drafting and presentation of accounting memo’s on complex accounting matters
• Support the finance business partner function with quarterly preparation of key trends and results analysis for senior management.
• Preparation & review of the quarterly and annual Solvency II returns to the CBI.
• Monitor cash/liquidity and provide commentary to management on trends and funding requirements.
• Support ad hoc accounting standard and regulatory reporting implementation projects.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Fully qualified Accountant (ACA/ ACCA/ CPA) with 3-5 years of post qualification experience
• Have extensive level of knowledge and experience of Accounting & Regulatory requirements.
• Working knowledge of IFRS 17 & Solvency II required
• Have excellent experience in both insurance and investment accounting within a finance function.
