York is the old name of Toronto. Fort York was built in 1793 to protect the city from the threat of the United States. At that time, it was still a British colony, so it was built by the former British acting governor. It is a very long and large area. The outdoor part is free to visit, and the indoor exhibits and explanations are charged.

Robarts Library, Canada's largest academic library. Its collection is mainly focused on the humanities and social sciences. It is only open to teachers, students, employees and alumni of the University of Toronto. The building also houses several other libraries at the University of Toronto: the Map and Data Library, the East Asian Library, the Government Information Library, and the University of Toronto Archives.

I especially enjoyed buying souvenirs in the gift shop. The hot dogs from the outdoor grill were delicious. It was great to be able to go from Union Station to the Pioneer Village subway station and visit the "Black Creek Pioneer Village". I recommend taking the bus from the subway station to Black Creek Pioneer Village. I hope you have a good time there too.
