Chrismukkah: A Magical Holiday Blend Last time it happened, it was in 2005, where the sunset of December 25 coincided with 25 Kislev, the first night of Hanukkah, creating an innovative holiday. The heartwarming blend of Christmas and Hanukkah is making a delightful appearance again this year, bringing us a perfect 2024 Chrismukkah, with Hanukkah beginning on December 25th - Christmas Day! While Christmas is celebrated on a fixed date, Hanukkah's timing varies with the lunar-based Jewish calendar, making these overlaps rare and precious. The next time we'll get to experience this special holiday convergence will be in 2027. So whether you're decorating in blue and silver or red and green, Chrismukkah offers a wonderful opportunity to embrace the joy and warmth of both traditions.
