It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Dr. Jeff Weber, a valued member of our Scientific Advisory Board here at Biond Biologics. Dr. Weber was a distinguished medical oncologist, researcher, and a leader in the field of melanoma immunotherapy. As Deputy Director of the Perlmutter Cancer Center and Melanoma Program Codirector at NYU Langone Medical Center, he dedicated his career to advancing the treatment of melanoma through groundbreaking scientific research and clinical trials. Dr. Weber's contribution to the field of cancer immunotherapy was immense, with over 150 publications and numerous clinical trials that have helped transform the care of cancer patients. His work on experimental therapeutics, including the management of the unique side effects of immunotherapies, has had a profound impact on the medical community and the lives of countless patients. At Biond Biologics, we were privileged to closely work with Jeff and benefit from his experience and guidance as well as from his good-temperedness and kind heart. His legacy will continue to inspire our work developing novel, innovative cancer therapeutics. His dedication to scientific excellence and commitment to advancing patient care will not be forgotten. Our thoughts are with his family, colleagues, and all who had the honor of knowing him.

🎉 Exciting Milestone Alert at Biond Biologics! 🚀 We are delighted to announce that the first patient has been dosed with BND-35 in a Phase 1 clinical trial, marking the entry of the second program in our innovative pipeline into clinical trials. BND-35 is a distinctive anti-ILT3 blocker designed to enhance the activity of tumor-targeting antibodies. This pioneering therapy offers a novel treatment avenue, particularly beneficial where existing therapies are limited. Initially tested as a monotherapy, BND-35 will subsequently be examined in combination with other drugs, broadening its potential impact.
