"𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗹𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿 𝗻𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲?" is one of the most common questions we get when explaining the Cyfluencer marketing program to potential new clients. Good question! Since the cybersecurity thought leaders in our network have full control, sharing only what they want, when they want, we actually have some data on that. 𝐓𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩. Okay, yes, obviously heavy marketing content and lead gen forms aren't super shareable. But diving a little bit deeper into what content performed best on the platform, we can glean that the most shares and click throughs came via: 🅲🅾🆄🆁🆂🅴🆂! Absolutely the top performer. We're talking about top quality content that adds value to the community, helping professionals brush up or learn more about a specific topic in cybersecurity for free. 🆃🅾🅾🅻🆂 🅰🅽🅳 🅲🅷🅴🅲🅺🅻🅸🆂🆃🆂! Is there a small feature of your product you can provide for free? Or a best practices checklist that TRULY would be good to keep on hand? Just like courses, people like to share things that HELP the professionals in their network. And regarding 𝐛𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐬, the most classic of content, we see that a mix of 𝙝𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙡𝙮 𝙩𝙚𝙘𝙝𝙣𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝙞𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙨, as well as 𝙘𝙪𝙧𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙖𝙛𝙛𝙖𝙞𝙧𝙨, performs well. Current affairs can be the latest cybersecurity legislation being produced, or the latest vulnerability. Just don't ambulance chase, that will go over like a lead balloon. What else goes over like a lead balloon? - Anything that starts off about the company/product - Anything that only talks about the problem to conclude that only they are the solution - Fluff produced with SEO, not thought leadership, in mind #content #thoughtleadership #contentmarketing #cybersecurity

Don't just give up on your marketing efforts because the holidays are nigh. Cyfluencer data from the last two years shows that people still want to read interesting cybersecurity content while kicking back with an eggnog. But, just a tad less on New Year's Eve. Fair enough. The below graphs are representative of click throughs on our cybersecurity vendor clients' blogs and content shared by our network of cyber influencers. #influencermarketing #cybersecuritymarketing #happyholidays

If you manage your company's social media accounts, just take the day off. Maybe your feed isn't like mine, but on LinkedIn, it's pretty much a one topic field. Nobody is going to care about your new whitepaper, even if it promises a scientific breakthrough that would allow one to stay forever thin while eating stuffed crust pizza with beer every night. Below is Cyfluencer traffic from the time of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. This is the amount of traffic generated from influencers sharing, organically, cybersecurity thought leadership on social media. It's pretty telling. So clock out early and hit the gym or a happy hour, your social feeds will be back to normal soon. Curious, though, how digital ads do during these periods of frenzied social media behaviour. Maybe someone can chime in. #socialmedia #marketing #onlytookaweekfortheworldtomoveon

Recently we had a Cyfluencer share by and influencer on LinkedIn that truly went viral (not just saying that, we're talking six digit views and 4 digits like-eroos). So, we had the influencer write about how they crafted their post. Whether for your personal LinkedIn, or your business endeavors, have a read and learn why taking time to write out a proper post matters. https://lnkd.in/dDYxKt_e #influenermarketing #linkedin #authenticitymatters

As Yael Moav looked for words on the ceiling to explain the benefits of B2B influencer marketing, she forgot to harp on one real reason to do things differently, privacy laws. Data driven marketers can't be blamed for wanting, well, data, to validate that their long hours are well spent. But the consumer also can't be blamed for not wanting to be a data point. The end result is that marketers are going to have to increasingly rely on more subjective methods and metrics. In a conversation with an expert marketer, they reported seeing a 40-50% drop in reporting for Google Analytics, due to rejection of, or ignoring of, cookie banners. And that might get worse. Since its inception, Cyfluencer has measured results of influencer campaigns in simple and compliant ways, while educating clients about additional ways to know if things are working. Authentic influencer marketing for an ads weary world, make it a part of your B2B strategy. Emphasis on "authentic".
