Doral is on its way to leading the renewable energy sector in the U.S. ⚡️🌍 In Northern Indiana, across 50,000 acres, Doral’s vision is coming to life with the Mammoth Solar project—one of the largest solar initiatives in the U.S. Last week marked the commercial operation phase of the Indiana North project, with a capacity of approximately 480 MW (DC). This is a major milestone for the Mammoth Solar project as a whole, which is set to reach a total capacity of around 1,600 MW (DC). By early 2025, we expect to see hundreds of installations in the field, leading into the construction of the next phases—Mammoth South and Mammoth Central. The Indiana project delivers significant local value across the board. Beyond developing infrastructure and advancing green energy projects that enhance environmental security, it strengthens local communities, drives regional economic growth, and creates new job opportunities. Our impact can be felt in every aspect of life—from transforming farmland into thriving renewable energy hubs to bolstering the economic stability of local families. In a special video feature published by Calcalist כלכליסט the editorial team joined a tour of the project site and gained a rare glimpse into the work led by Doral Renewables LLC. In addition to renewable energy production, the feature highlights the unique synergy between technological innovation and community engagement, as well as Doral LLC’s ambition to become one of the top three companies in the U.S. renewable energy sector while continuing to rise to prominence in the American capital market. Significant Milestone for Doral in the U.S. – Indiana North Project Now Commercially Operational ⚡️ We are thrilled to announce that the Indiana North project, with a capacity of approximately 480 MW (DC), is now commercially operational. This marks a significant milestone for the overall Indiana project, which is set to reach a total capacity of approximately 1,600 MW (DC) – making it one of the largest solar projects in the U.S. Additionally, we are excited to share the completion of the tax equity investment (Bank of America) and long-term financing for the project. These achievements highlight the trust of Doral’s partners and the expected economic value of the project. This update joins a series of significant accomplishments by Doral LLC, further strengthening its position in the renewable energy market and bringing it to the forefront of the U.S. market. Doral will continue to work tirelessly to develop the Indiana Central and South projects, with construction expected to begin in the first half of 2025, as well as lead additional projects in the U.S. and Israel! 🌍 Read the full article >>> https://lnkd.in/dVNCaShy

“Doral is now responsible for over 40% of the green electricity sold in the market. The opening of the supply segment to competition is an excellent development,” said Yoni Hantis, Doral’s Deputy CEO, at ynet and Yedioth Ahronoth’s Transportation, Infrastructure, and Energy Conference. “Israel relies on a small number of large production sources. In a country where the attribution scenario from the south, east, and north involves rocket threats, this is simply inconceivable. Today, our country stands at 13% renewable energy, and what started as an economic and environmental initiative has now become a national security necessity. We must do more.” Yoni also addressed the barriers slowing the advancement of renewable energy in Israel and presented the solutions Doral is already implementing: decentralized energy, storage solutions, and agrovoltaic systems that integrate agriculture with solar panels. Doral remains committed to leading and developing projects from the north to the south, strengthening Israel’s energy and economic security ⚡️ Read the full article >> https://lnkd.in/dQmf2RTQ

About five years ago, we were the pioneers in launching agrivoltaic operations in the Israeli energy market. Earlier this week, at the annual agro-solar conference, we were thrilled to present to the attendees the first agrivoltaic facility in Israel, located at Kibbutz Revadim, and to meet with partners from across the country — all united by a shared vision for the future of agriculture and energy in Israel. During the conference, Yoni Hantis, Deputy CEO of Doral, and Avital Ofek CEO of our Israel operations, shared insights into our innovative projects that blend agriculture with solar energy, the path we’ve paved to realize this vision, and how, over the past year, we have seen the significant impact this work has on strengthening Israel’s energy security. We couldn’t have made this journey alone. Our partnerships with the kibbutzim are an integral part of our vision, teaching us how genuine collaboration, driven by belief and commitment, can make a tangible impact and advance a green and innovative future for us all.

On a special tour for a feature with the Calcalist כלכליסט team, we provided an up-close glimpse into one of the most impressive solar projects in the U.S. Doral’s large-scale Indiana project spans approximately 13,000 acres —about the size of Tel Aviv-Yafo—and delivers a capacity of around 1.6 GW. Joining the tour were Dori Davidovitz Doral’s Founder and Chairman, Yaki Noyman, the company’s CEO, and Nick Cohen CEO of Doral Renewables LLC, who shared insights into the project’s development and its immense impact. Additionally, we had the honor of meeting outgoing Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb a dedicated supporter of Israel and a true friend. Governor Holcomb has played a significant role in strengthening collaborations with Indiana and attracting Israeli businesses to the state. Michal Weiss-Navon keren gichaz We concluded the visit with a heartfelt gesture—a unique gift for the Governor: a flower symbolizing life after October 7 in Israel, crafted from rocket fragments by Israeli artist Yaron Bob. Positioned among the leading solar companies in the U.S., Doral LLC will continue its work to develop projects and expand its significant operations across the U.S.

Yesterday, we hosted a leading group in climate tech entrepreneurship and investment at Israel's first agro-voltaic project, located in Revadim. Participants were introduced to the pioneering nature of this project, which combines solar agriculture with energy storage across 122 dunams of avocado orchards, with a production capacity of approximately 10MWp and a storage capacity of around 40MWh. During the tour, they met with Yoni Hantis, Deputy CEO of Doral, who shared insights on the importance of such innovation in the Israeli market and the role we all play in driving this field forward. They then took an in-depth tour with Oved Yavin עובד יבין, head of agriculture at Doral, and heard from Shay Dolev, head of green electricity at Doral, who shared his perspective on renewable energy trading. We concluded with a roundtable led by Guy Yavin, who heads Doral Tech, discussing the need for climate investment funds and ways to strengthen support for entrepreneurs in this field. We’re grateful for the opportunity to showcase the project and demonstrate how energy and agriculture can merge here in Israel 🌞🌱
