#Resilience in the making! GenCell Energy and Gncell Mexico engineers together with the Comisión Federal de Electricidad technical operations team are hard at work deploying GenCell REX hydrogen-fueled, zero-emission, long-duration backup power systems at substations across Mexico. Following an expanded order that has doubled the number of REX units to be installed across the CFE distribution network, the teams are exerting substantial efforts to deliver the systems on schedule and to spec and to ensure that all units will be commissioned in good order. #Utilities #FuelCells #BackupPower #Sustainability #SayNoToDiesel

According to Reuters News Agency, after a severe storm in October caused a blackout in Sao Paulo that left many out of power for days, the Brazilian government announced it would sue its power provider Enel Group (ENEI.MI) for collective restitution and demand individual compensation for consumers that lost power for over 24 hours during the outage. The total amount could exceed US$170 million.
