Meet Uri Avni, a practical electrical engineer and one of Israel's most experienced people in high-voltage and pulsed power. Uri was one of the first to join nT-Tao. His ideas, experience, and insights push the limits of what's possible, and we are extremely lucky to have him on our team.   ▶ What is your part in our mission to bring clean energy to the world? I assist in the design of a high-energy machine in the electrical and physical part. I also help develop control & monitor systems for experiments, and consult wherever possible.   ▶ What drew you to nT-τao, and how has your journey been here so far? I was looking for a private company that develops a nuclear fusion machine, because of a recommendation from a friend who defined it as "the best thing for me." I'm now sure he was right, and I believe that I have contributed to the progress of the company.   ▶ What aspect of your job are you most passionate about and why? For me, it's a vision that is turning into a reality. I'm passionate about the part where I'm putting my skills to good use.   ▶ What is your biggest hope for when nT-τao reaches the goal of commercialized compact fusion power? Healing the problem of global warming, and air pollution, improving the quality of life of the entire world, and lowering the costs of all energy-intensive products dramatically. Maybe even the possibility of fast interstellar travel.   ▶What would you be doing if not for nT-Tao?
