In a recent article, Automotive Dive highlights the growing importance of cybersecurity in automotive development and how partnerships are driving innovative solutions. We are proud that our collaboration with dSPACE is being featured as a key example. Together, we’re advancing #HIL- and #SIL-based cybersecurity testing, enabling OEMs and suppliers to test early and often during development by leveraging existing functional testing infrastructure and processes. This approach delivers clear benefits: 📌 Reduces costs by minimizing the need for additional testing personnel, simulation hardware, and lab space. 📌Streamlines compliance with automotive regulations and standards. 📌Enhances shift-left capabilities, addressing vulnerabilities earlier in the development cycle. Heading to #CES2025 next month? Make sure to check out our partnership and solution at booth 4500! Learn more: https://lnkd.in/equcYj7g

🚨 The European Union’s Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) is here, signaling the end of fragmented cybersecurity practices and the start of a unified approach to securing digital products. This landmark regulation, effective next week, carries major implications for the #automotive industry and beyond. Key Highlights: ✅ Mandatory #Cybersecurity Requirements: The CRA mandates stringent security measures for all products with digital elements, aligning with ISO 21434 and UN Regulation No. 155. ✅ Severe Penalties for Non-Compliance: Non-adherence could result in fines of up to €15 million or 2.5% of global turnover. Important Milestones: 📅 December 10, 2024: CRA enforcement begins. 📅 September 11, 2026: Manufacturers must report compliance. 📅 December 11, 2027: Full applicability takes effect. While the CRA builds on existing frameworks, its overlap introduces challenges—particularly for OEMs and suppliers navigating undefined areas, such as category O (#trailers) under #UNR155. At PlaxidityX, we’re already helping organizations tackle these complexities. From ensuring compliance to streamlining processes, we provide the tools and expertise needed to thrive in this new regulatory era. 👉 Ready to adapt to the CRA? Let’s connect!
