Sequencers are powerful computers, more capable than Ethereum nodes As the backbone of Starknet, the Sequencer is responsible for: ✅ Transaction validation and execution ✅ Efficient transaction ordering ✅ State updates and seamless communication with Ethereum’s main chain The Sequencer harnesses advanced cryptographic techniques to deliver secure, high-throughput, low-latency transaction processing. The design and implementation of the Sequencer are pivotal to Starknet's goals of scalability, security, and decentralization—key pillars for Ethereum’s future. STARK-Based Scaling Solutions
עלינו
StarkWare solves the inherent problems of blockchains – scalability and privacy. We develop a proof stack, using STARK technology to generate and verify proofs of computational integrity. StarkWare’s cryptographic proofs are zero-knowledge, succinct, transparent and post-quantum secure. We use high-level math to develop scaling solutions that provide blockchain users with a secure, fast, and seamless experience.

This past week at Devcon was truly inspiring! Despite the challenges of navigating Bangkok traffic, the StarkWare team participated in numerous side events and attended the main conference. A highlight was Oren Katz's talk on the main stage, where he discussed key considerations for choosing a chain to build a future-proof L2. The room was packed, and the enthusiasm for Starknet was undeniable!

A comprehensive deep dive into Starknet, Cairo, and the exciting future of validity rollups. "The Starknet rollup architecture makes compute and calldata very cheap, which is a completely different paradigm compared to L1 (“everything is expensive”) or even optimistic rollups (“calldata is very expensive and capacity is limited to manage state bloat, which sometimes makes calldata even more expensive”). The cost structure of operating on Starknet is most similar to regular computing." Thanks, Peteris Erins and Ben Basche from Auditless, for the piece. Full piece 👇 https://lnkd.in/dnhu8e7E

Pycon 2024 was a blast!
Fun moments from Pycon 2024! Sharing one of the conference highlights: StarkWare’s coding riddle. The prize? 1 ETH, worth approximately $2,400 today. In an impressive display of teamwork, five friends won the prize - teaming up, cracking the riddle with the fastest solution, getting to be the first team to withdraw the prize from the digital vault. What’s even more heartwarming? These friends decided to award the prize to their buddy – who was getting married the very next day. Huge kudos to the StarkWare team for bringing both innovation and creativity to the conference—what an amazing energy at the booth!
