I am not sure, I have the right attitude. When someone (say a Chairperson) from the Government department (say SEBI), issues a statement that they are innocent (of the crimes), I always tend to believe the other person, who accuses them of wrong doings . I got serious trust issues with the Indian bureaucrats and politicians.

Thank you for your support. I had single-handedly managed the suc- cessful upgrade and deployment of new environmental illumination system with zero cost overruns and zero safety incidents. I am extremely grateful to all superiors for providing the resources and support without which, I could have achieved this. How would I write "I changed a light bulb" on LinkedIn?

Ending the LinkedIn Madness series: #5: Congratulations, Kamala Harris on Winning the US Election and becoming the 47th President of the US of A. As Kamala Harris is being elected as the President of the United States, I knew it was a monumental moment, breaking Glass Ceilings Kamala Harris’s victory symbolized breaking through barriers. Inspired by her journey, I decided to tackle my own challenges head-on. For years, I had been struggling to convince my team to adopt a new project management tool. But on that fateful day, inspired by Kamala’s determination, I walked into the office with a newfound confidence and convinced everyone to give it a try. Now, we’re more productive than ever. Agree? Empowerment Her victory empowered millions, including me. With her example in mind, I volunteered to lead a diversity and inclusion initiative at my company. The initiative not only improved our workplace culture but also led to an award for corporate social responsibility. Empowerment can lead to real change, right? Leadership Skills Watching Kamala’s leadership inspired me to take on more responsibilities. I ran for president of our local business association and lost. Under my leadership, we would have launched several successful community projects, including a mentorship program for young entrepreneurs. Global Perspective Her international influence broadened my horizons. I started a global collaboration project with colleagues from different countries, sharing best practices and innovative ideas. This initiative not only boosted our team’s creativity but also led to a significant increase in our international client base. Embracing a global perspective can open new doors. Anyone else? Footnote: When Kamala Harris wins the election I will also add about the "proud Indian heritage stuff", along with, how her inspiring story motivated me to achieve great things in my own life. I am ending this short series, not because I am running short of content. But a lot of "real" posts, are worse, suspicious and funnier than mine.

Continuing the LinkedIn Madness series #3 How Six Sigma Saved My Life It was a day like any other. I was walking home, lost in thought about my latest project, when suddenly, I found myself in a precarious situation. A piano, being hoisted to the fifth floor of a building, had snapped from its cables and was plummeting towards me. At that moment, I realized that all my Six Sigma training was about to save my life. Define the Problem In a split second, I defined the problem: a rapidly falling piano and my immediate need to not be under it. Six Sigma’s first step is all about identifying the issue clearly. Measure the Situation I quickly measured the distance to the nearest safe spot. Using my keen analytical skills, I estimated the piano's velocity and calculated the time I had to act. Isn’t measuring vital in everything we do? Analyze the Data Analyzing my options, I realized that running straight ahead would be futile. I needed to move at a 45-degree angle to maximize my chances of escape. Data analysis at its finest! Thoughts? Improve the Process Implementing my plan, I darted to the side, narrowly avoiding the piano. This improvement phase is crucial – always seek the best solution to avoid catastrophic outcomes. Who’s with me? Control the Process Safely out of harm’s way, I took control of my adrenaline-fueled state, reflecting on the importance of maintaining composure. Six Sigma didn’t save my project; but it saved my life. It’s more than a methodology – it’s a way of thinking that can protect you from pianos and pitfalls alike. Note: No actual pianos or any processes were harmed in the making of this story.

Starting this new series: LinkedIn Madness How My Neighbor's Cat's Birthday Party Revolutionized My Client Relations Attending my neighbor's cat's birthday party was an unexpected masterclass in client relations. It was a typical Sunday afternoon when I found myself at Fluffy’s birthday bash. As I watched the cat wear a tiny hat and blow out the candles (with a little help), I had an epiphany. - Personal Touch: If I can remember Fluffy’s birthday, I can surely remember my client's name (finally!). Taking that extra step to remember small details about our clients can go a long way. Agree? - Celebrate Success: Celebrating a cat’s milestone is like throwing a parade every time your client sends an email. It shows appreciation and keeps the relationship strong. Isn’t that what we all strive for? - Handle Surprises: When Fluffy knocked the cake off the table, it taught me to handle unexpected client demands with a smile (and a mop).
