By the time last year ended, like most of us, I had thought of a few plans for 2024 (not resolutions, somehow they don't work for me :-)). But one of those plans was definitely not writing a book. However, call it serendipity or one of those things that are meant to be, I was privileged to go through the rigor of writing and publishing my book, "What’s Your Human Edge?: 53 Timeless Ideas for Thriving in the Age of AI." I remain eternally grateful to the readers for embracing the book and making it consistently feature in "Hot New Bestsellers" over the past two months. While the book was launched digitally, one of the experiences I missed was the heart-warming atmosphere of an in-person launch with a book reading session and interaction with the audience. This gap was recently filled at an event hosted by Accurate Bearing Components, a leading auto components manufacturer specializing in the production of sub-assemblies for steering and suspension linkages. A big thanks to the promoter and COO, Nikhil Dayakar, and his family for sponsoring and hosting the event. The event took place away from the hustle and bustle of city life, in the midst of nature. You might wonder why not in a bookstore or at a corporate location. We just felt that being amidst nature was a fitting tribute to the central theme of the book, "Being Human in the Age of AI." The evening was a beautiful reminder that our human edge lies not just in our intellect, but in our ability to connect, create, and find meaning in the world around us.
