  • ✨ Reflecting back on a 4-year journey with the community! ✨ 👉 Aide et Action, through its livelihoods intervention under the Enterprise Promotion for Sustainable Development initiative, organised a series of Learning cum Sharing meetings at various blocks in Biswanath district from 13th November to 16th November, 2024. 👉 Five meetings in total took place - over 50 participants attended at the Biswanath Project office, 60+ at Sakhomatha block, 60+ at Gangmouthan panchayat, 40+ attendees at Baghmora block and 130+ participants attended at Behali block. 👉 SHG members, youths from 3 vocational trades under the project were in attendance along with District Project Manager and Block Project Managers of ASRLM Biswanath, Block Coordinators, representatives of Bankmitra, Cluster Resource Persons, and members of Jeevika Sakhi throughout the programme. 👉 These meetings focused on reflecting back on the project’s interventions, activities and its learnings with the participants, as well as providing them a platform to share whether they require additional need-based support and their feedback on the trainings which they had received through the project. 👉 Participants also shared their experience throughout the trainings and receiving regular follow-ups by coordinators of the project, their plans to scale up their businesses for the future and requesting support for future collaborations and opportunities to boost their businesses. @Assam State Rural Livelihoods Mission @Child Aid Network Aide et Action South Asia #AideetAction #EducationforAll #SHGmembers #Youths #VocationalSkills #Needbasedsupport #Needbasedtraining

  • 🌱 Fostering Livelihoods and Entrepreneurship for Youths and SHGs in Assam! 🌱 ✨ Aide et Action, under its Enterprise Promotion for Sustainable Development (EP4SD) initiative, hosted a Stakeholders’ Meeting on November 18, 2024, at Hotel Rajdhani Regency, Assam. The event aimed to nurture a vibrant livelihoods and entrepreneurial ecosystem in the state. ✨ As part of the project’s phase-end review, the program assessed the initiative’s outreach and impact across three districts in Assam: Kamrup (Rural), Dibrugarh, and Biswanath. ✨ The event brought together key stakeholders, including: Mr. Dhrubajyoti Gogoi (State Project Manager, Assam State Rural Livelihoods Mission), Mr. Kautilya Basumatary (General Manager, Tata Trusts), Mr. Kishaloy Das (State Project Manager, Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana - National Urban Livelihoods Mission), Ms. Manisha Choudhury (Programme Manager, Food Technology). ✨ It also welcomed program alumni, successful youth, SHG members, entrepreneurs promoted under the project, and other distinguished guests. ✨ Highlights of the Event: ✅ Participants gained insights into the project’s progress, achievements, and outreach ✅ Youths and SHG members shared their inspiring journeys, detailing how skill and need-based training programs empowered them ✅ Stakeholders offered valuable information on government schemes to support youth and SHG members in starting or scaling their enterprises, while extending their best wishes for future success ✅ A special exhibit at the venue showcased a range of innovative products crafted by SHG members, celebrating their entrepreneurial spirit Let’s continue building opportunities for empowerment and sustainable development! #EducationForAll #SkillTraining #SHG #YouthEmpowerment #YouthSupport #livelihoodprogram #livelihood

  • 🌱 Building a Thriving Entrepreneurial Ecosystem for Youths and SHGs in Meghalaya! 🌱 ✨ Aide et Action, through its Enterprise Promotion for Sustainable Development initiative, conducted a Stakeholder’s Meeting which aims to promote an Entrepreneurial Ecosystem in Meghalaya on November 13, 2024, at the State Convention Centre, Shillong, Meghalaya. ✨ The program was held as part of the project’s phase-end review, assessing the project's outreach and impact across East Khasi Hills and Ri Bhoi districts in Meghalaya. ✨ The meeting was attended by key stakeholders, including MSRLS COO Mr. Ronald Kynta, who served as Chief Guest, along with state and district block officials from MSRLS. Other notable participants included representatives from the District Commerce & Industrial Centre, Meghalaya Basin Management Agency, Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship (Shillong), Synjuk ki Seng Samla Shnong, Shillong Expressway Pvt Ltd, entrepreneurs promoted under the project, SHG members, successful youth, and program alumni. ✨ Insights on the project’s progress and outreach were shared with the participants.   • 🌱 Young Minds nurture their emotional skills beyond the classrooms! 🌱 👉 Through its Strengthening Access and Quality Education in Lakhimpur (SAQEL) initiative, Aide et Action is supporting students in the Bihpuria and Nowboicha educational blocks of Lakhimpur district by introducing Social Emotional Learning (SEL) sessions. 👉 These sessions aim to boost their self-awareness, participation, and relationship-building skills with their peers and family members, promoting increased . 👉 So far, the project has conducted a total of 141 SEL sessions across 20 schools reaching out to 2,577 students through fun activities such as group discussions, outdoor group games, sharing experiences and role-playing. 👉 These SEL sessions are helping students develop skills needed to navigate challenges and make responsible decisions, improve their academic performances and increase their interest levels to ensure regular attendance in the classrooms. #SocialEmotionalLearning #SEL #ChildDevelopment #EducationForAll #QualityEducation #PositiveMindset #StudentEngagement

  • 💪 Equipping Youths with financial knowledge and opportunities Biswanath district! ✨ Aide et Action through its Enterprise Promotion for Sustainable Development initiative organised a Banker's Orientation programme at Behali Block of Biswanath district on 30th September, 2024. 🙋♀️ Over a 100 youths were awarded with completion certificates in 3 vocational trades under Aide et Action's initiative - Beauty & Wellness, Electrical Repair & Housewiring, and Fashion Designing & Tailoring. 📝 The participants were capacitated on key topics such as understanding the credit linkage process, financial literacy, effective loan management, and how to navigate the banking system to access the full range of financial services available to them. 👉 The programme was also attended by representatives of banks like Punjab National Bank and Assam Gramin Vikash bank, officials of Assam State Rural Livelihoods Mission (ASRLM) of Behali block, the Cluster Resource Persons, and members of Jeevika Sakhi for the entirety of the programme. #BankOrientation #YouthEmpowerment #FinancialLiteracy

  • ✨ Careleavers across the country elevate their capabilities! ✨ 👉 The National Care Leavers Network (National Care Leavers Network) organised a 2-day Capacity and Networking Workshop with 35 care leavers from 14 states on 29th & 30th September, 2024 at New Delhi! 👉 With support from UNICEF India in partnership with Aide et Action, this workshop aimed at levelling up the networking skills of the NCLN and its careleavers, providing them with an enriching platform aimed at fostering their personal and professional development. 👉 A variety of sessions took place in the 2 days, ranging from brainstorming sessions for a new logo, network management, a session on developing self-identity and a positive mindset, as well as strategies on strengthening and expanding the national forum. 👉 Two members from Assam Care Leavers Association (ACLA Assam Care leavers' Association), Mandira and Kukil, represented the state at the workshop. 📸 Check out a few snaps from the interactive workshop!
