Join Us as a Fund Accounting Associate at Airavat Capital: We at Airavat Capital, an investment firm focused on tech-enabled businesses across Indian and global public equities with a presence in Bengaluru and GIFT IFSC SEZ (GIFT City), are seeking a Fund Accounting Associate to join our finance and accounting team. What You’ll Do:   - Prepare fund management information, including NAV and performance reports.   - Manage vendor and advisor relationships for accounting, tax, and compliance needs.   - Handle investor administration and reporting, and support trade execution and treasury management.   - Ensure fund regulatory compliance and coordinate with the investment team on strategic matters. What We’re Looking For:   - Chartered Accountant or a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, or a comparable qualification.   - 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance; prior fund accounting experience is preferred.   - Detail-oriented, a keen learner, and proficient in MS Excel.   - Interest in building a career in investment management and ability to work with various stakeholders. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the compliance and operational management of our various fund vehicles. This is a unique opportunity for you to apply your mutual fund / PMS industry expertise to develop and enhance a robust compliance and operations framework within a rapidly expanding, globally-focused, niche investment firm in an emerging financial hub. Airavat is a boutique and entrepreneurial setup – 5-member team currently and expected to be around 8 members as we scale. The ideal candidate would be one who: (a) would thrive in such an artisanal setting; (b) takes a long view on this opportunity; and (c) is driven by a desire to excel at their craft. Key Responsibilities: • Oversee investor onboarding and compliance (KYC, FATCA, CRS etc.). • Ensure adherence to fund regulations and manage regulatory filings. • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive operational efficiency.
