“If you own this story, you get to write the ending.” – Brené Brown True leadership is defined by more than just knowledge or expertise. It’s about taking ownership, which is not simply about performing a role, it's about having the foresight to anticipate problems, the responsibility to solve them, and the courage to act when others hesitate. It’s about leading with conviction, much like Naveen, Deputy General Counsel and SVP, Legal at Airtel, who lives by these qualities in the high-stakes world of corporate law. For Naveen, being a Deputy General Counsel is more than just a title, it’s a responsibility to master the entire legal spectrum. With over two decades of legal expertise, Naveen's portfolio spans a wide spectrum of matters, from high value transactions, high exposure litigation, criminal proceedings to disputes resolution, international arbitrations and consumer affairs. This wealth of experience allows him to approach the ever-evolving legal landscape with a unique blend of pragmatism and innovation. Demonstrating his commitment to ownership, one of Naveen’s most notable achievements is how he revolutionized contract management at Airtel. When faced with rigid foreign contracting partners, he saw an opportunity for transformative change and crafted a policy that balanced empowerment with flexibility in contract management. His passionate and ardent management has brought about superb results in various high value tax and other litigation, curtailing the financial exposure running into hundreds of billions. At the heart of Naveen's work ethic is the principle of ownership, a principle that guides his approach to every challenge. He often discusses ownership through a multi-faceted lens, with a key aspect being the ability to remain calm in critical situations, a mindset that fosters better problem-solving and decision-making. Naveen’s sense of ownership goes far beyond his immediate responsibilities. His active involvement in shaping regulatory discussions on sensitive issues, such as telecom infrastructure/ right of way related, environment related matters etc., underscore his dedication to influencing the policy frameworks that will shape the future of telecom. As Naveen continues to drive legal excellence at Airtel, his journey offers a compelling example of how courage, responsibility, and a commitment to continuous growth can transform challenges into remarkable opportunities. How will you lead with courage to continue and make your mark? Be limitless. Because you are. Airtel partners with Indian Army to connect remote villages Line of Control in North Kashmir Connecting the unconnected has always been Airtel’s primary mission. And now we join hands with the brave hearts of Indian Army to bring connectivity along the LOC in remote regions of Kashmir. As part of the PM Vibrant Village Programme, Airtel has put up 15 sites that will connect the Indian Army personnel and the public at large along the border villages of Kupwara, Baramulla, and Bandipore districts with the rest of the country. We are also proud to be the only private telecom operator providing its services in these regions. Airtel is always in service of our soldiers. We collaborated with the Indian Army to improve network services and enhance connectivity in many remote areas of military bases. Just recently, Airtel successfully established connectivity in the Galwan River region and Daulat Beg Oldie (BDO), which is recognised as India’s northernmost military outpost. We believe there should be no limits of what we can achieve. So we push ourselves to do the impossible, everyday. Be Limitless. Because you are. #BeLimitless

"Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all.” – Helen Keller Success isn't solely measured by expertise or technical prowess. What truly distinguishes exceptional leaders is their drive to explore, to challenge the status quo, and to reinvent oneself. Pooja Sablok, VP - Marketing Head, Home Broadband Business, exemplifies this mindset. Her 13-year journey at Airtel is a testament to her penchant growth and her determination to take on new challenges. Pooja’s journey at Airtel began in 2011, when she joined as a management trainee in finance under the Young Leaders’ Program. But finance was just a starting point, and after two years in the role, Pooja transitioned to marketing to be at the heart of the business and closer to the consumer. This bold move placed her at the heart of the action, with the big 4G revolution unfolding in India. Pooja was tasked with driving internet adoption across the country- a daunting responsibility, but one that set the stage for the roles that followed. For Pooja, Airtel became a place where she could experiment, grow, and learn because the culture encouraged cross-functional movement. She took full advantage of this, constantly seeking out roles that would stretch her skill set & broaden her business understanding. Pooja’s curiosity led her to brand management, a role where strategy, consumer engagement, and communication intersected. It was here that she began to master the delicate art of storytelling, crafting campaigns that resonated deeply with Indian audiences and transitioned from being a product marketer to a brand marketer. She later played a pivotal role in building Airtel Wynk & Xstream into content powerhouses & led content operations & strategic partnerships with both music & video giants. This is when she learnt about relationship building, people management and added method to the chaos. It was like working with a startup within Airtel. Recognizing the growing demand for streaming platforms & smartphones during COVID, Pooja took on the role of Head of Partnerships and helmed key partnerships with industry giants like Samsung, Apple, Netflix, Prime etc. Her ability to foresee market trends helped enrich Airtel’s customer experience by integrating these platforms & their propositions into its ecosystem. Today, Pooja heads Marketing for Airtel’s Broadband business, a critical vertical, as Wi-Fi connectivity becomes the next frontier in telecommunications, especially after the launch of the FWA technology. Every day presents a new challenge, ones she does not shy away from but solves by balancing strategic foresight with operational excellence. Pooja's journey is a powerful reminder that when approached with curiosity, courage, and an openness to new experiences, life is indeed an adventure with limitless possibilities. What’s your new adventure going to be? Be limitless. Because you are. #BeLimitless #Impact #Learning #IAmAirtel #Career #CareerGrowth

Deepti Thomas is a storyteller. And the story of Airtel she tells is a compelling one. A story of drive, passion, learning and growth—a story that adds a new exciting chapter everyday! And today we revisit the chapter on homecoming. Her journey back to Airtel. A communications professional for 16 years now, Deepti came with the typical “agency” background but she has never been a typical anything! Which is why she fit so perfectly at Airtel back in 2012 when she made the jump to “client side” as they call it. Starting with communications for DTH & HR, Deepti gradually added more verticals and it was a fully organisational comms role by the time she exited in 2020. It was a personal decision to take a career break just for herself. Deepti wanted a “no routine, no schedule, no deadlines and no pressure of getting to office” life for a while. But soon found out that the “sabbatical life” was not for her. Being passionate about her work, Deepti found it boring when there was no goal to work towards everyday! So very soon Deepti found her way back to doing what she loved, with a start up this time, where she was designing content and communications. And then began an Airtel boomerang relay, when her boss Kinshuk reached out after having come back to the company himself! Deepti came home to Airtel and has never looked back since! While she transitioned to a brand new team, and her 3 years away from Airtel felt more like 15 years, it was still a homecoming. Because that’s Airtel for you. An organisation that makes you feel comfortable but never laid back. A culture that values you for who you are and also pushes you learn, develop and grow more and more. So it was a fresh slate for Deepti to write a new story, but also one that familiar to hold and work with. The one thing that she loves about Airtel is the “push”. Everyday you’re learning something new, and also unlearning in a way, when you come to accepting newer, better ways of doing something. In her words, once you’ve worked at Airtel it’s in your blood, it’s an adrenaline rush! Whether you’re working on a ground breaking innovation or a simple press release, the work gives you joy and a rush that’s incomparable. Because it challenges you. It’s not just press package you’re designing, it’s a technology breakthrough you’re learning about inside out. That is what makes Airtel so exciting—the expanding horizons of knowledge and invigorating learning. And then there is the people and the culture. As Deepti describes it, it’s the fact that the people believe in you and a culture that prioritises your learning and development. Airtel prides itself on making employees feel they can grow with us without limitations. You may fly the nest to explore the world, but you will always have a family to come back to. #BeLimitless Deepti Thomas #airtel #employeeexperience #employeejourney #careerdevelopment #careergoals #growthopportunities #airtelcares #employeeretention

Imagine a world where emergencies are met with faster, seamless responses. Airtel is making this a reality by reimagining #PublicEmergencyResponseSystems in alignment with the government’s vision of a secure and #digitally empowered nation. Using our high-speed MPLS network and SIM-based and #VoIP solutions, we’ve created an interconnected infrastructure that links control rooms and data centers with Police Response and critical service providers— #medical, #police, and #fire —enabling faster coordination and reducing assistance time to just 15-20 minutes. Together with the government, we’re proud that this innovative system ensures quicker action, strengthens citizen governance, and empowers emergency services to respond more effectively, assuring citizens with greater confidence in their safety. “The only way to do great work is to love what you do” – Steve Jobs Having a vision is only the beginning. It takes a hunger to learn, a dedication to grow, and a proactive drive to turn aspirations into reality. For Rajiv Nagarajan , GM & Head of Social Media & Email, Airtel Center, this commitment is a way of life! Rajiv’s journey at Airtel has been nothing short of a masterclass in forging meaningful human connections. For him it’s about knowing the customer, speaking their language, and anticipating their expectations. From day one, Rajiv had two clear goals: transform customer service from a reactive function to a proactive engine and ensure that every interaction left customers feeling valued. Rajiv’s innovations weren’t limited to traditional customer service. He saw an opportunity where many wouldn’t - on YouTube. In a space typically reserved for entertainment or tutorials, Rajiv envisioned a new way to educate and engage customers. His team created a series of videos that didn’t just provide customer solutions but also created a CX delight. This groundbreaking use of social platforms earned Rajiv and his team the Innovative Use of Social Platforms award at the India Customer Experience Summit 2023. What matters more to Rajiv is not numbers but the human side of customer service. The team was able to focus on deeper, more meaningful interactions with airtel customers. For him there is never a dull day at work. When he notices a colleague feeling overwhelmed, he steps out for a coffee with them. His face lights up as he says that, a good conversation and a cup of coffee can solve almost every problem! Rajiv is a firm believer in taking risks and seizing opportunities. For him, playing it safe means stagnation, and he encourages his team to embrace creative & calculated risks. As we take a note from Rajiv’s playbook, we’re reminded of a powerful lesson - When you love what you do, every small thing is an opportunity to make an impact. What vision are you driving today? Be limitless. Because you are. Rajiv Nagarajan #Airtel #BeLimitless #Inspire #Motivate #Impact #Risktaking #Innovate #CreativeThinking #Creativity #CustomerService #AirtelCares #CustomerExperience
