About us
Albedo Foundation is a premier institute serving the geospatial industry since 2018, located in the “Wine Capital of India” – Nashik (Maharashtra)
We are involved in conducting seminars, hands-on training workshops, and awareness programs related to geospatial technology and surveying in different schools, colleges, and universities. The training, education, and capacity-building programs of the Institute are designed to prepare the GIS skilled workforce to meet the requirements of the GIS and RS industry at various levels.
Our Institute has a strong, multi-disciplinary, and solution-oriented research agenda that focuses on developing improved methods/ techniques for processing, visualization, and dissemination of EO data & Geo-information for various societal applications and a better understanding of Earth's system processes.
We believe in a collaborative model and work with multiple partners which include NGOs, other foundations, the government, and corporates.

Recently we have wrapped the four months in-plant training/internship for the students of Agricultural Engineering from all over Maharashtra. During the internship program they have done tasks on vector and raste data analysis and implemented those skills in their case studies related to natural resources management using Geospatial Technology. Our four month in-plant training (Agril. Engg.) interns have presented their case studies on Applications of Geospatial Technology in the Natural Resources Management and the tasks they have performed during the internship. The case studies were on the themes viz. Soil erosion modeling, rainfall runoff modelling, drought monitoring, SWDI analysis using SMAP data, MCDA for Rainwater harvesting site Suitability, watershed prioritization, etc. We appreciate their efforts and consistent hardwork they have shown us during the internship. They have understood the benefits and future of agriculture with Geospatial Technology.
