I’ve had the privilege of participating in a variety of business discussions over the years — from incubator moot pitches to VC presentations, from pitching to top institutional clients and bureaucrats to being pitched to by industry leaders in my Project Management days. And yet, the aspect I enjoy the most is real conversations about business — whether small or big. Each meeting is a learning experience, and occasionally, some stand out in ways that turn into lasting relationships built on shared visions and passions. Many of my long-term advisors are clients I worked with before I even grew significant facial hair! (In my defense, I’m from the Northeast of India.) For instance, Mr. Prasun Banerjee, my client from my Visual Merchandising & BTL days over two decades ago, continues to be a guiding force. He even prompted me to write more on LinkedIn and keeps me grounded when I spend too much time here instead of making sales calls. Yesterday, I had the honor of meeting Commodore Rajiv Ashok, Managing Director of NERAMAC Ltd, and what a standout meeting it was! Walking into his chamber at NERAMAC felt like stepping back into my early 20s, pitching to Sony Corporation for the first time. Commodore Ashok’s infectious energy could light up entire halls. What started as a planned 30-minute meeting turned into a full product demonstration at another location — NERAMAC’s upcoming Corporate Building — joined by their Senior Management. We explored avenues for providing services to NERAMAC and potential collaborations. And as if the incredible meeting wasn’t enough, Commodore Ashok later left me this generous comment on one of my posts (screenshot attached). I take repeat showers to refresh and reboot—especially when the hours get crazy. It’s a ritual for sparking creativity. A couple of days back, after one of my usual reboot showers, I stared at my bedroom mirror and noticed the reflection of the tattoo ink on my arm. That moment sparked an idea: what if body art could inspire home art?
