On the 12th of February 2025, the Association of Supply Chain Professionals (ASCP) opened its 5th Chapter in India as "ASCP Central Region Chapter" with an inaugural event with the founding members of this chapter in the vibrant city of #Indore. We thank DR.SANJEEVV KHANNA Author, Coach, TedX Speaker, CXO for his leadership and charting ambitious goals for a very progressive and active chapter and congratulate all members for coming in and be part of an exciting journey.

What a magnificent call to welcome to 2025! To all our guests and valued members of the Association of Supply Chain Professionals (ASCP), it was a pleasure and honour to be the Convenor of ASCP's India Supply Chain 2024 Conference. 'Hope is not a strategy'. So talking and creating a strategy to get results on achieving net-zero supply chains, and opportunities where supply chain professionals can make an impact by introducing sustainability initiatives, and the steps firms can take to build resiliency into their supply chains so that they can better navigate tomorrow’s market conditions as the absolute purpose. ASCPs leadership and the success of its endeavour should result in creating a paradigm shift in the thinking and motivating stakeholders managing supply chain businesses in India of the criticality of addressing immediate carbon reduction, reducing wastage, and adopting sustainability measures to meet the global SDG’s. Thank you to the entire Management Committee of ASCP especially the fantastic role of Samuel Jeffson, Ashish Pednekar, PN Raghavan and AMITAVA Baksi to make this happen with so much glitter! Association of Supply Chain Professionals (ASCP) concluded its annual India Supply Chain 2024 Conference welcoming 2025 with its clarion call to action Supply Chain into Responsible Chain. This year the message was 'Achieving Sustainable Supply Chains through Collaboration and Technology'. To all our guests and valued members of ASCP, we thank you all for your enthusiastic participation. In a world marked by dynamic shifts in global economies, climate challenges, and digital innovation, the supply chain industry stands at a crossroad. Our responsibilities have grown beyond traditional measures of efficiency and cost-effectiveness; today, they extend to ensuring environmental stewardship, ethical practices, and resilience against future uncertainties. The path to achieving these objectives lies in the fusion of two powerful forces: collaboration and technology. Countries are also being asked to come forward with ambitious 2030 emissions reduction targets that align with reaching net zero by the middle of the century. Hence, Responsible Supply Chain should not be just a tick in the box for corporates. India Supply Chain Conference is the oldest premier supply chain conference being organised since 2007 under different banners and now under ASCP. Each year we plan an improved format and relevant topics where each delegate can engage, unparalleled to any other such event, so that we remain innovative and steps ahead disseminating updates on best in class supply chain practices. It was 8th Nov'24 and we Supply Chain Professionals joined for a very successful Annual India Supply Chain 2024 Conference at Hotel Taj Santacruz, Mumbai organized by ASCP India (Association of Supply Chain Professionals), ...one of the oldest SC Professional bodies in the country. The conference was very well curated by Anshuman Neil Basu who not only brought to dias some very eminent Speakers #KRK Reddy, Additional Member Traffic, Railway Board; Vinit Kumar, Cheif Electrical Engineer, Indian Railways; but also very thought-provoking Supply Chain perspective by Jagjit Singh, Chief Logistics and Supply Chain, Tata Steel and an impressive Social Impact Supply chain case study on upliftment & empowerment of Indian village artisans by Amitava Bhattacharya. Session by Keynote address by Prof. (Dr.) Jitesh J Thakkar, Dean Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalya brought Innovative aspects to the Supply Chain Sustainability Process. At the end of the Rising Star session on Sustainability & Traditional skill-based Entrepreneurial from Esther Khiangte at Norakkan Coffee Roaster, Mizorom was the icing on the cake, who received a standing ovation. The conference started with a very apt address by AMITAVA Baksi, President of ASCP on bringing today's Supply Chain to Responsible Chain. The best part was that each aspect of the conference - whether Momento, the Awards, or the culinary dishes spread throughout the day and the decor was very innovative and pleasing which made the conference very memorable for each of the participants.
