I create drama; therefore, I am a content creator.

Friend(s): What are your NYE plans? me: rajae mein, laptop ke saath, will binge netflix. With 24 hours to go on the clock, this is a recollection of what all happened: • I started with a mission - to write content every day. • I went through a personal financial loss and study-result crisis. • October was a discerning month. • Cars24 happened - I got introduced to a fantastic work culture. • Interacted with a pool of talented individuals. • Ended the year with a case competition win. • Got invited as an anchor and then a moderator to multiple events. • Contributed to events and initiatives of Net Impact DU, got recognized as the 'Chapter of the Year,' and funded USD 400. ...And more. But what about LinkedIn? Every profile deserves its own LinkedIn Unwrapped, and thanks to anchors - Aesha Agarwal, who brought this to light. As we eagerly approach 2025, I want to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who joined me on my 2024 journey. Your support, encouragement, and feedback mean the world to me. Join Anchors and get your #LinkedInUnwrapped now. So, here's to another year of growth, challenges, and new beginnings!

128653 characters 2024 was about getting back to Linkedin after a slow down last couple of years. The fact that my content impacted ~750k+ people around the globe is humbling! Reflecting on my 2024 LinkedIn journey, 🔍 Here are my biggest takeaways: • Consistency is key; • Connections matter; I grew alongside a vibrant community of founders, people leaders and product owners! • Authenticity wins; diving deep into the topics that resonated most with you all. 2024 has been an incredible year of growth and connection! If someone told me back in January that so much would happen in the span of a year, I wouldn't have believed them. But here we are. Excited for what the next chapter holds as I continue to evolve! Thanks Ravi and Aesha for creating such a beautiful tool! More power to anchors! #LinkedInUnwrapped #exclusive #anchors #CreatorEconomy #YearEndWrap

I am a writer (and an author) but I don't write here too often... So, imagine my surprise when I checked my own LinkedIn year-end wrap and saw that my content reached ~70k people. Such a number really makes you think, doesn't it, about the kind of content you're sharing with everyone? Such is the power of social media platforms. And yes, a 4-day streak is funny. I agree! 🙈 (I'll do better this year) But I love that the year looks balanced, all in all. There were some months that are awesome some that were pretty good and some not so much... That's life, I guess It turly was a memorable year for me in more ways than one and this LinkedIn-specific recap helps quantify it too. We created this to give some fun and useful insights to creators who are with us, about how their year fared - to celebrate them & encourage them to give their best. ____________________ If you're a LinkedIn creator too and you want to get those insights, create your Year-End Wrap by anchors (Link in comments) #LinkedInUnwrapped #recap #goodbye2024

Recently, I visited my hometown and had an unexpected experience I am sure you had the same! While heading to the railway station in an E-rickshaw (I love using public transport for a truly local experience), the driver started playing loud music on YouTube. But here’s the strange part: → An ad in pure English popped up. → Another ad was just an image with background music—no voiceover. → A third ad wasn’t even relevant to the audience; I’d never even heard of such a product before. Now, think about this: - The driver isn’t watching the screen. He’s listening. - He isn’t fluent in English or Hindi, and his primary language is the local language. So, what happens to those ad budgets? They get wasted. Here are 3 critical points brands must consider for their YouTube ad campaigns: 1) Use the Right Language: Ads should match the audience's primary language and content preference (local, Hindi, or English). 2) Always Add a Voiceover: In Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, many users only listen to YouTube, especially when playing music. If your ad lacks a voiceover, your message is lost. 3) Make It Relatable: If your product is new, compare it to something familiar. For example, “anchors is LinkedIn for Creators” instantly makes sense. Every ad costs money. Make sure it’s speaking to the right audience in the right way. Have you noticed any such ads on any social media platform? Share your thoughts in the comments! 👇 Image Credit - Inc42 Media Aesha Agarwal anchors #youtubeads #marketing #advertisement

Have you ever seen the same ad 14 times on your LinkedIn feed? (It’s happening to me right now.) Here is the impact on brand Every time I open LinkedIn, I see one ad. It’s the Cashfree Payments ad. (You probably know the one—I’ll share the link in the comments.) But here’s the thing: It’s shown up 14+ times for me already, and it’s still flagged as “Promoted.” You know what that means? Every impression costs Cashfree money. But let’s talk about the real impact on the brand: 1) Overexposure leads to irritation. Seeing the same ad repeatedly doesn’t increase trust—it creates frustration. 2) The 'Promoted' tag can trigger negative perceptions. It feels overly pushy, and pushiness rarely converts. 3) Rising costs, diminishing returns. More impressions don’t always equal more results. 4) Increased chances of being reported. Annoyed users might start reporting the ad, damaging the campaign further. So, here’s a simple takeaway: When running an ad campaign, balance visibility with user experience. Don’t irritate your audience—engage them. P.S. I recently saw an insightful post about brand messaging by Arjun Vaidya. I’ll drop the link in the comments too. Har Ghar Engineer❌ Har Ghar Creator✅ A few days ago, I asked my cousin, a 10 yr old kid, “Bade hoke kya banoge?” She replied, “Mujhe YouTuber banna hai!” I was a bit shocked but also curious. You should try this too—ask a kid who uses a phone, “Bade hoke kya banna hai?” Most of the time, the answer will be Influencer, YouTuber, or Gamer. This change in mindset, driven by Gen Z and Gen Alpha behavior, is why the Creator Economy is booming like never before. It’s projected to become a $500B industry by 2030. The best part about content creation is that no degree is required—all you need is passion and commitment. At anchors, we’re building a platform for creators, where they can: - Collaborate with brands - Connect with other creators - Get support from peers >> Our vision is to become the go-to platform where creators from all countries come together. And now, we’re expanding. We're looking for interns for the following roles: - Growth Hacking - Marketing Strategy - Product Management - Graphics Design I’ll share the application links for each role in the comments. Could you help us build a strong team? A simple comment or repost works wonders. And if you have any relevant WhatsApp groups, do share ahead. P.S.: The stipend might not be high (we're bootstrapped), but the learning and growth will be unmatched! #linkedincreator #creatoreconomy #hiringinterns
