Big Yellow Door

BYD was born in 2013 with a small cozy café in Delhi University's north campus. A project, very close its founders' hearts. Udit Khanijow and Shira Goel Khanijow put all their efforts in founding this beautiful place. They spent months discussing every detail, hand-painting the walls, crafting the menu and building a place that would come to be home for so many college students. BYD's aspiration was to be comfortable yet quirky, a place where one could sit and talk for hours while enjoying the best food. It was a shortcut to experiencing life in little French cafés, Bombay canteens, and Greek Bistros. The personal touch that BYD brought to service, drew it's audience and soon BYD became the talk of the town. We ourselves could not believe how much people loved dining with us, simply because we paid attention. Whether it was the food, conversation about the weather or our customer's precious feedback. It was all the love and faith from our customers that pushed us to take BYD where it is today, and hopefully, higher.
