Corporate life, the idea of experiencing a steep learning curve, putting up with the corporate demeanor and the prestige of working in a global firm with a strong presence across the globe, has been drawing the best talent from institutions across the country. However, more often than not, people tend to underestimate the difficulties associated with the transition from student life to the life at an MNC. These difficulties hinder the goals and timelines that a student or job seeker establishes for herself. To counter this very problem, two Delhi University students --who first hand experienced the same issues-- came up with the idea of BingeJobs. BingeJobs aims to eliminate the information gap, that students, freshers and job seekers experience as they mark the transition to corporate roles, by connecting them with professionals who are already a part of increasingly competitive industries and are placed at strong firms. Such connections, networking fat tracks and allied services, would enable the students to get real time updates on different firms, their culture, the career trajectories that can be built and most importantly the path to establish a promising career structure at promising firms, in intensely competitive industries. The seasoned professionals, on the other hand get an opportunity to monetize on their domain knowledge, expertise and develop a strong professional network comprising of top talent sourced from the best institutions.
