RSS is collecting plates and bags for Prayagraj Maha Kumbh: 1.12 lakh steel plates and cloth bags will be collected and sent so that the waste is reduced Maha Kumbh Mela will be held in Prayag (UP) from 13 January to 26 February. It is estimated that more than 45 crore devotees from 100 countries will attend this event being held after 12 years. Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh ( #RSS) has launched a campaign to make Maha #Kumbh garbage free (plastic-free). For this, steel plates and cloth bags are being collected from all over the country. The team of RSS's #Environment Conservation Activity Institute has given the target of collecting 1 lakh 12 thousand plates and bags from eight departments of Chittor province. These plates and bags will be sent to the Akharas and #institutions running langar in Maha Kumbh. This campaign started late in Chittorgarh district. In five days, the institute has collected more than 3000 plates and bags from the district.
