Situated on a compact 30x90 ft linear site in the densely populated urban fabric of Krishnagiri, K House is an architectural response to the challenges of restricted space, surrounding structures, and the need for natural light and ventilation. Designed for a small but growing family, the house carefully integrates spatial efficiency, natural elements, and sculptural aesthetics to create a home that feels open and expansive despite its constraints. #DreamEstates is a series presented by Atomberg (Atomberg Technologies ) in association with #Buildofy To ensure privacy while maintaining a connection to nature, the design incorporates internal courtyards, green pockets, and strategically placed cutouts that bring in natural light while framing views of greenery. The ferrocement facade, a defining feature of the home, is sculpted to create a play of light, shadow, and depth. Thin yet structurally sound, it enhances the building’s visual lightness while acting as a climatic and aesthetic filter. Inside, the combination of wood, metal, and textured glass creates a warm yet contemporary interior palette. The double-height spaces, skylights, and strategically placed windows ensure that natural light permeates deep into the house, reducing dependence on artificial lighting. Learn more about this house with floor plans, sections, detail drawings, material palette, and more at: https://lnkd.in/dcg7G-7k K House is more than a structure—it is a carefully crafted living space that evolves with its inhabitants. Through its innovative use of space, materials, and light, it transforms site constraints into an opportunity for design excellence. The result is a home that is private yet open, compact yet spacious, and sculptural yet deeply functional—a harmonious blend of architecture and everyday living. The first month of 2025 has taken us across Gurugram, Kochi, Chennai, Krishnagiri, Lonavala—each project adding to a journey that has been 10 years in the making. With every project we document and every architect we collaborate with, we deepen our understanding of design, sharpen our perspective, and push ourselves to do better. These interactions shape us, challenging us to capture architecture with more depth, more nuance, and more meaning. As we move forward, we continue to evolve—striving for bigger stories, richer narratives, and an India that sees design not just as a backdrop, but as a way of life. Here are some snippets from the shoots we’ve done—moments that reflect the passion, collaboration, and vision behind each project. The films are coming soon. Stay tuned for a glimpse into a more architecturally inspired future✨ Architecture Journalists on site: Kanishk Sharma, Arushi Ponnala & Paras Burande

"When I started my journey as an architect, I thought I knew what I was signing up for: long nights, tight deadlines, endless site visits, and the slow grind of career growth. While I loved design, the journey felt overwhelming, and somewhere along the way, the creativity I craved got lost in the chaos. Then I joined Buildofy — and everything changed. Here, I don’t just explore design; I discover and document. Every day is an adventure — interviewing talented architects, traveling to stunning projects, and crafting stories that inspire millions. I’ve learned that architecture isn’t just about creating spaces; it’s about bringing those spaces to life through words, visuals, and stories. From the thrill of brainstorming a video concept to the satisfaction of perfecting an edit — it’s the kind of creativity and fulfillment I’d always dreamt of. Architecture at Buildofy is a world of storytelling, exploration, and limitless creative expression. If you’re an architect who’s ready to break free from the routine and rediscover the joy of design, this is where you’ll find it." - Arushi Ponnala If this sounds like something you want, 📩 Write to us at hr@buildofy.com – we’d love to hear from you! Vaazh, meaning "live" in Tamil, is a home that celebrates freedom and harmony with nature. Located in Vedanthangal, it was designed as a sanctuary to escape the chaos of city living. The concept embraces the region’s ecological heritage, blending traditional mud architecture with modern sensibilities to create a peaceful refuge. Central to the design is a courtyard with a curved wall that shields from the harsh sun while inviting the morning light. Perforations in the wall cast beautiful patterns on the floor. Learn more about Vaazh with floor plans, sections, detail drawings, material palette, and more at: https://lnkd.in/dj7_SVvw The curved wall serves as a play structure, connecting the ground and roof, fostering exploration and a deeper connection to nature.
