About us
Carnegie India, the sixth international center of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, opened in April 2016 in New Delhi. As with Carnegie’s centers in Beijing, Beirut, Brussels, Moscow, and Washington, Carnegie India is staffed and led by local experts who will collaborate extensively with colleagues around the world. The center’s research and programmatic focus includes the political economy of reform in India, foreign and security policy, and the role of innovation and technology in India’s internal transformation and international relations.

Postkort fra Delhi! 23 af vores medlemmer er rejst til Indien sammen med Charlotte Flindt Pedersen og Kunal Singla for at dykke ned i landets fascinerende politiske og kulturelle landskab. Efter en velfortjent frokost oven på den lange rejse blev programmet skudt i gang med et møde med Deputy Head of Mission, Martin Egknud Petersen, på Den Danske Ambassade. Aftenen bød på en velkomstmiddag i smukke rammer hos Cedar Club House. Tirsdag morgen startede med et besøg hos den globale tænketank Carnegie India, hvor fokus var på Indiens geopolitiske rolle og alliancer samt Indiens politiske fokus på AI og spaceregulering. Det var den forhenværende ambassadør Arun K Singh, der gav orienteringen om den geopolitiske situation. Om eftermiddagen mødte gruppen EU-Kommissionens politiske direktør, Klas Nyman, der talte om EU’s samarbejde og partnerskaber med Indien. Billederne er taget mandag og tirsdag. I onsdags stod programmet på en heldagstur til Agra, hvor de blandt andet besøgte det imponerende Taj Mahal. Vi glæder os til at dele billeder fra den oplevelse!
